Digital Media Manager

Job Description:

We’re looking for a Digital Media Manager to provide strategic planning and direction across all facets of digital media. He or she will take leadership in clearly recommending and communicating strategic media solutions to help achieve client business/media objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for all phases of digital campaigns, including research, development and writing of plans, presenting, negotiating, buying, optimizing, tracking and reporting
  • Analyze and report campaign performance and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  • Research, track and interpret emerging media trends and how they relate to our clients
  • Work with other members of the media department to develop multi-platform campaigns
  • Train and oversee other members of the department in carrying out digital campaigns as noted above
  • Work with other departments to ensure media efforts are well-integrated with clients’ overall objectives
  • Gain client trust and respect; building strong client relationships
  • Organize and keep specs up-to-date
  • Work to maximize department efficiency/effectiveness
  • Participate in new business efforts
  • Manage deadlines and work in an efficient manner

Job Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Four-year degree with 5+ years digital media planning and buying experience for both B2B and B2C clients
  • Extensive knowledge of Google AdWords and Analytics, social media platforms, optimization strategies, remarketing, conversion tracking, ad serving tools and reporting technologies
  • Understanding of ad specs, basic creative build and website design
  • Proven track record with both B2B and B2C clients
  • Basic understanding of media tactics outside digital
  • Sound analytical thinking with good quantitative skills
  • Results-focused—deliver client metrics and follow-up analysis
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Persuasive written and oral communication skills
  • Strong organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines at once
  • Skilled at critical thinking—ability to analyze problems/situations and determine bests course of action
  • Collaborative, team player with a positive attitude
  • Self-starter, detail-oriented, sincere, hard working
  • Strong work ethic
  • Thrive in a performance-based culture
