2016 Alchemy Awards: A Night to Remember

Award season is upon us—in the agency world at least. It’s a time where clients and agencies join together to recognize the most innovative ideas, memorable campaigns and effective work of the year. In the past decade alone, S&B and our clients have received more than 100 awards at local, regional, national and international competitions.

One of our favorites each year is the Alchemy Awards. Hosted by the Madison Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America, the Awards honor exceptional campaigns and tactics that were developed and executed in the greater Madison area. Highly competitive, each year submissions are judged by members from chapters in other states. This year’s awards were judged by members of the Central Pennsylvania Chapter.

At last night’s ceremony, our team took home awards for every single campaign and tactic we entered, making our team the recipient of the most awards for 2016. Included in the wins were eight Awards of Excellence, one Award of Merit and the highly-coveted Best of Show.

Our team’s hard work and dedication to excellence and innovation was recognized for our work with Jones Dairy Farm, ADM Animal Nutrition and the Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board.

For our work with Jones Dairy Farm, we won Awards of Excellence in the following categories: integrated campaigns, marketing consumer products/services, website development and special events.

In recognition of our ongoing media relations activities for ADM Animal Nutrition, the team also took home an Award of Excellence.

For our work with the Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board, we received Awards of Excellence for projects submitted in the multimedia, social media tactics and social media campaign categories, as well as an Award of Merit in digital publications.

Rounding out the evening, our team took home the event’s top honor—Best of Show— for the development and execution of the EatCurds.com Summer of Curds ongoing social media campaign.

Award wins of this caliber showcase innovative ideas and the strategic, thoughtful planning and execution of campaigns that help elevate our clients. We’re lucky to work with such great clients, and it’s an honor to be recognized for our work.
